# LyuNet > LyuNet is a privacy-first distributed mesh network and unified settlement layer: list a node, pay in LYU, and turn idle bandwidth and compute into discoverable services. LYUNET: Distributed Mesh Network, Built & Shared Together Connecting scattered resources with scattered demand Node join is invite-only; an invite KEY is required. LYU is an in-platform settlement unit only; it is not listed on external exchanges, not an investment, and not an on-chain token. ## Why LyuNet ### Idle to Income Your bandwidth and compute can become someone else’s utility. List in the catalog—sell egress, AI, relay; users pay in LYU, you earn LYU, the platform takes a small fee. ### One Bill for Everything Egress, AI, enterprise access, dev environments—no more multiple products and accounts. One account, one settlement unit (LYU), pay-as-you-go, clear billing. ### No Single Point, Self-Hostable P2P networking and a decentralized catalog: no single entry point, no single point of failure. Catalog and ledger can be self-hosted and audited; you control data and traffic paths. ### Earn While You Use Every node is both consumer and provider: use your node to get online and open capabilities to others for LYU. Deploy an app or API and it’s discoverable; LYU is your revenue. ## Product & Capabilities Connecting scattered demand with scattered resources—so idle bandwidth and compute can be found, used, and paid for. ### Nodes for Everyone Join the network and list in the catalog: offer egress, AI compute, relay, or dev environments and earn LYU. Or just consume—top up LYU, pick services, pay per use. One node, use and earn. ### Network Without a Single Point Direct and multi-hop relay between nodes; no single entry, resilient to failure or blocking. Self-host and audit catalog and ledger; you and your organization keep control of compliance and data sovereignty. ### Unified Settlement, Instant Payout All platform services are priced and settled in LYU. Providers get paid instantly; consumers pay per use; relay and invites are incentivized. One flow for primary/sub accounts, top-up and withdrawal; clear, traceable billing. ### Supply and Demand at a Glance The catalog shows who offers what and at what price. Consumers choose services and nodes, pay per use; providers list and go live without separate payment integration. The platform connects supply and demand via catalog and ledger. ### Desktop to Cloud CLI, console, admin panel, mobile, and Docker—for individuals and operators. One identity, one settlement, many services—egress, AI, enterprise access, dev environments—all on one platform. ## How to Join ### Get Started · Console "Get Started" takes you to the console login. - Existing account: log in to manage nodes, balance, and top-up. - New user: click Apply to register (email + password); after approval you can log in to the console. ### Node Join · Invite-Only Joining the LyuNet Mesh is invite-only; you need an invite KEY. - Get an invite KEY (or invite link) from an existing node owner. - Enter the redeem URL and KEY in LyuNet node config; after redeeming you get the bootstrap list. - On first heartbeat the node sends the invite_token from redemption and joins the network, bound to your platform account. After applying for a platform account, if you don’t have an invite KEY yet, contact an existing node owner or watch official channels for open invites. ## Pricing & Settlement All platform services are settled in LYU; pay-as-you-go, providers get paid instantly. Every billable service (egress, AI inference, relay, enterprise access) is priced in LYU. Consumers top up LYU and are charged by usage; providers list services and earn LYU by usage. Unit prices are set by nodes or the platform in the catalog (e.g. price_lyu_per_gb, price_lyu_per_1k_tokens). The platform may charge a fee; see actual operations for details. No monthly fee or minimum; pay only for what you use. After joining, log in to the console to view balance, transactions, and pricing. ## About LyuNet Privacy-first P2P network and unified settlement platform ### Introduction AI is turning compute and data into new infrastructure, but these resources are either locked in big clouds or scattered across countless personal and business devices, hard to share and trade in a secure, controllable way. Connectivity and privacy have moved from optional to essential, while common approaches are either centralized and fragile or only solve networking, not "who pays whom"—you get a network but not a market. LyuNet aims to be the layer that connects scattered demand with scattered resources. We don’t build new AI models; we make every idle GPU and every idle link discoverable, usable, and payable. That’s the infrastructure the AI and privacy era actually needs. ### What Is LyuNet LyuNet is a privacy-first, self-hostable P2P network and unified settlement platform. On LyuNet every node is both consumer and provider: you use your node to connect and use services, and you can expose shared AI, personal sites, dev environments to others; they pay in LYU per use, you earn. The platform connects supply and demand via catalog and ledger. Core mechanics: nodes list in the catalog—what they offer (AI, Agent, relay, monitoring, etc.) and LYU price. Consumers pick services and nodes in the catalog and pay per use; LYU is debited and credited. The ledger is separate from the network core and maintains balances and transfers. All billable services are priced and settled in LYU—one bill, one balance. What can be offered: shared AI (API proxy or self-hosted inference), personal web and API, enterprise zero-trust access, dev and test environments, data and storage, API resale. AI is central: private inference, multi-model routing, Agent backends, data never leaving your perimeter—LyuNet’s Mesh, catalog, and LYU support this natively. ### Glossary - **LyuNet**: P2P network and unified settlement platform - **LYU**: In-platform settlement and incentive unit; maintained by the ledger; no public chain - **Node**: Instance running LyuNet; can be both consumer and provider - **Catalog**: Service discovery; shows who offers what and LYU price - **Ledger**: Separate service; maintains LYU balances and transfers - **Mesh**: P2P links and multi-hop relay LYU is an in-platform settlement unit only; it is not listed on external exchanges, not an investment, and not an on-chain token. Let’s connect scattered demand with scattered resources. ## Docs and software - [Docs](https://github.com/lyunet/lyunet/tree/master/docs): See the project repo for deployment, configuration, and API docs. - [Download](https://github.com/lyunet/lyunet/releases): Pick node type and platform; get builds from GitHub Releases. - [LyuNet — Distributed Mesh Network, Built & Shared Together](https://www.wecoo.cc/): Home - [About LyuNet — Privacy-first P2P Network and Settlement](https://www.wecoo.cc/about): About - [Pages](https://www.wecoo.cc/llms.en.txt): llms.txt
